Most college students have stories from their roommates, but what if you're both from towns with names that could be confusing? My current roommate and I came up with this prompt, and I had a great time writing it! It's not my best work, but I still find some humor in it!

Yes. I'm afraid of falling in love... I wrote this poem based off a writing prompt off of Pinterest that said, "Yes. I'm afraid of falling in love. You make me feel like I'm on top of the world... and that's an awfully long way to fall." It was a difficult one to write because I had to really dig deep into my unfortunate love life, but I think it's a really good example of the fear we all inevitable feel when we're falling for someone.

What I wish I said?...What would I say? I wrote this in the midst of a depressive state where I wasn't sure if someone I cared about felt the same. I've since been reassured, but I think it really gets across how love in this day and age can feel.
